Team Asa is a volunteer run 501 © 3 organization that helps to enable individuals with differentabilities the opportunity to participate in recreational and social activities that foster a sense of self, a sense of team and extended family. Since the inaugural plunge in 2012, we have raised more than $70,000.

We provide financial scholarships to individuals so they can participate in activities like Special Olympics, Buddy Bowling, The ARC of Tempe programs and more. Team Asa supports local Tempe school programs like adapted PE and specialty classes. Additionally, we support programs that provide opportunities to the special needs community like City of Tempe Special Olympics, The Centers for Habilitation and others.

Lastly, Team Asa partners with other like-minded organizations to host the annual Tempe Adaptive Adventure Day. The event features several adapted adventures like the Save the City Obstacle Course where participants use adapted bicycles to pedal, roll and/or scoot through a fun setting, allowing the entire family to experience a fun-filled adventure day at no cost.
